A FREE Melting Snowman?!?

There’s no snow in Iowa yet but we are ready for snowmen!!  A couple of the girls put together a fun little pattern to share.  Emily designed an applique/embroidery pattern of a cute little melting snowman that you can download here: DOWNLOAD MELTING SNOWMAN TEMPLATE

This template could be used for almost anything!  You could put it in a little frame or a small pillow.  He would look right at home on the edge of a table cloth or on a stocking.  Brenda took the template and put it on a towel as pictured.

She used the copier and put the design on a Transfer-Eze sheet.  If you’ve never used Transfer-Eze, you’ll be amazed.  It’s a fabulous product that easily allows you to transfer designs for embroidery, applique, machine and hand quilting, and punchneedle. (I’m sure there are million other things you could find to use it for. You can purchase it HERE.)  She then appliqued and embroidered the design.  She finished it off with some cute distressed rick rack.

I know come mid-January when we are shoveling tunnels out of our homes, we’ll be wishing for warm summer days…. But for today we’ll enjoy cute little snowmen.
